I can always get to 100% on a charge its when I get near 8% when it becomes interesting. It is not consistent sometimes its a normal discharge and then again there are other times when from 8% the battery dies within a few minutes.
I'm going to call Humanware on my lunch hour tomorrow.

Hi. Even with 7.01, it is a major task to get the Mpower to get to 100
percent on a full charge. It will stop somewhere near the top. I have to try
to get it to fast charge. It will stop again before it gets to 100 percent.
Eventually, if I work at it, I can get the level to 100 percent, but it
takes a lot of plugging and unplugging the adapter.

Paul's message leads me to clarify my battery problems a bit further. True,
once I get the eight percent, in no time at all, I then get the battery
critical message and then only have a few seconds to get the unit plugged in
to the electrical outlet. Also, my battery has on numerous occasions,
dropped very rapidly from thirty some percent to the eight percent, but it
has never gotten below the eight. Also, and I think I got this right not
having my mPower plugged in right now, but the last measured discharge kept
dropping, as it was at fifteen hundred something when I first got the unit
in November of 2005, but had dropped down close to a thousand when I last
used the unit. Recalibrating the unit on several occasions didn't seem to
help the situation, either.

Hi. I have seen my braille note not fall below eight percent. It just sticks
there until the unit goes flat. At other times, I have gotten to six
percent. This seems to be normal behavior as far as I can tell.
