Hi all,
Sssss, now that *is* lazy. A tip calculator, why not just learn your
15S times table or your 20S times table. I did. Why not just type in
the amount of your meal times 1.15 or times 1.20, in the calculator.
Does teaching New Math in school these days somehow require that
simple computation be unlearned or not learned? I've always thought
doubling the taxes in New York State was an inefficient way of
calculating tips. Taxes aren't always an easy 8% in all states, or in
other countries. Just learn how to calculate 15% or 20%, period. You
can even, if you've a mind that likes challenges, try x over amount
and 15 over 100, then multiply 15 times the amount and divide by an
hundred. Sheesh, next thing
you're gonna want the BN to tell you how to brush your teeth.
