Nicole,
This is normal to have the sy7nthesizer say 3 p;eriods instead of the normal
way e.g.dot dot dot. You need to assign a display symbol for characters e.g.
c cedilla, n tilde, a accent, etc.

Subject: [Braillenote] Some Observations

I would like to share a few observations I had about the BN BT 32
running KS 6.11. First, when I told KeyMail to make my attachment an ascii
file, I got a string of mumble gumble characters that aren't eve letters at
the end of the attachment file. Anyone else had this one happen? I might
also add, if this might effect it, that I was switching back and forth
between computer Braille and grade 2 in a keyword Braille file. I have also
noticed that the BN says "3 periods" instead of ..., but this is fixable in
the pronounciation dictionary, and I thought I woiuld just share it for
anyone that is interested. I have also noticed that the BN will display,
but not speak the ascii value for some characters that are not letters,
numbers, or punctuation. I would like it if it spoke and displayed the
ascii value for all characters when read letter is pressed three times. I
have also noticed that the read word command does not bring the cursor to
the beginning of the word. I think this would be helpful for editing.
Once again, please excuse me for any incorrect information.

Nicole
