As far as transfering bools goes, copy the contents of a daisy disk to a flash card and tell bn to find the book on that card. I don't know if this actually works, but it should since it will read daisy books from bookshare from flash.
Talks being positive is all well and good, but I won't believe it until I hear it on my bn. There is another update coming out next year, the last available for classic users as ,jonathan wrote. Maybe these talks will take a year? Hang on to your disk players and bookports students, no matter what the hype says, the ride's not over yet. Rusty On 8/30/06, Alex Parks <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I have a Victor Vibe, but it is very tempramental and is another device to carry from class to class. Even so, DAISY playback and USB CD drives are exciting on their own. Now I have to find a drive, preferably under $100. FTP would be great. I think there are always things we wish for. For instance, I think HW should release a cell phone program for the mPower, at least. Use contact info on the BN, but put the SIM card, antenna, and cell radio in a box that connects to the USB port. That would be great, and further HW's mission of diminishing the amount of devices a blind person has to carry.
