One can speculate endlessly about such things. As Richard said, it probably came down to $$$$, and even though he trumpeted the party line from Humanware about Keysoft and its virtues and yadayadayada, maybe he never really bought into it. Personally, I like the idea of an open platform and have always maintained that Humanware would do well to consider it.
