When shopping for a cell phone for your son, ask for a phone with Blue Tooth. This will let your son's BrailleNote pair with the phone and use it as a modem. While there are a couple of blind accessible cell phones on the market, I think most of them are using GSM transmission, so forget using them on Verizon or SPRINT networks. T-Mobile, AT&T and Singular are the three GSM carriers of any size in the U.S.. Spring and Verizon use the CDMA and analog standard, mostly CDMA these days. Happy shopping.
