KC: I didn't think he was pointing a finger at Jonathan, and I know I sent the message out of context. But that kind of wording made me think that there must have been rumors that features were being tailored to individuals rather than to the population at large or that perhaps there was a perception out there that the needs of some interest groups maybe were more listened to than others. Or something. Anyway, I got the idea that there had been some kind of disagreement at HW that had gone public or something like that. Anyway, I got a feeling of damage control from that message.
I do love my BrailleNote, but I can't think of a single product out there that couldn't use some improvement, and that has to include the BN. I hope that HW fixes some of the little bugs it still has. I'd still recommend the BN if I had my way. I do think there are several good products out there right now, but the BN deserves its share of the market. I'll miss Jonathan, too, and hope he does well and is happy over at FS. We all need changes from time to time, and I believe he'll be a wonderful asset to them. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of kathleen spear Sent: Saturday, September 02, 2006 8:34 PM To: Braillenote List Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Email from Philip Rance Dear Mary et al, I read the full-message from Phillip rance, including the portion you quoted. I may be wrong, but having the whole message gave me a different slant on the interpretation. By that I mean, one BN user may have been persistent in pushing for a feature for which others were not asking. I didn't thing the guy was pointing a figer at Jonathan, or anyone else.
