hi Brian,
I'm sorry... But my mother likes things in control. Meaning that she goes
online at nightime. +, I have to take my computer out (laptop) to a place
every night because well, uhrm, I might be using it at nighttime when it's a
schoolday. But I can still use my bn at night (the only reason is that I
have to put it into charge). +, if I had to take my bn out of my room, the
next day I might forget about do to the hastle of school.
Regards:
Tomi

Subject: [Braillenote] Downloading an Upgrade Over Dial-Up
Ottawa Canada
Dear Tomi:
One way to preserve peace in the family would be to stay up until
the rest of the family are heading to bed, then connect to the
net and start the download, then go to bed yourself.
Then the BrailleNote will download in the dead of night.
I used to do this in my MS-Dos days and a 44,200 bps dial-up
connection when downloading or uploading big files.
But if your school didn't buy an SMA, you can't run the upgrade
as you won't have a valid product key for it.
I guess schools like to stretch their money as far as they can,
but in my humble opinion, it is false economy.
Brian
