Everything I have read about bluetooth suggests a range of about 30
feet, so your 8 meters seems correct. Perhaps you are mistaking
bluetooth for some other kind of RF signal, such as the 900 mhz.
wireless keyboards and headphones.

Subject: [Braillenote] Has mPower Bluetooth been stabilized yet?

Hi all

mPower's bluetooth connection to my very modern and powerful PC has been
extremely unstable from day one with a range of no more than 8 metres.

PC specs claim 100 metre connectivity range.

mPower always looses the connection when streaming media via the PC or
when connecting to large sites.

Humanware assured me round May this year that the problem was being
investigated.

Anyone heard anything yet?

Deon
