OOOOh no, I love the file is protected feature for the book reader, I
hope this will be remmidied, that surely is a step backward.

Subject: [Braillenote] 7.2 questions

Hi all:

I know it is early to be asking, but I have some questions about 7.2.

1. What is the file/keysoft system disk/windows/8sinks.mp3 for?
It is in with the program files, yet serves no purpose that I can see.
It was very amusing, though.
2. Why does the Read Me file say that bluetooth was added to the
available visual display ports if it was there since 6.2?

3. I always use Spanish Computer Braille (don't ask why), but when I
tried to save this email as a draft, using Spanish Braille, it
translated the Spanish symbols into English computer braille, then
translated those into grade 2 signs' For example, "hi all:" would be, in
Spanish braille, "hi all:". Same thing, right? The problem: the colon
is a which sign in English computer braille, "hi allwh". Instead of
reading as a colon, however, that which sign was read as a w-h sign. If
you followed that, you're good. Can anyone tell me why I am suddenly
unable to write in the braille table I have used for so long with no
problems?

4. The Read Me also says something about file extensions not being
retained, yet this has not happened to me when I tried to rename a file.
The extension remained like normal.
5. Before now the SPACEBAR would stop reading in a protected file, such
as a book, and leave me at the place in which I left off. It was easier
to hit than trying for the BACKSPACE and ENTER keys. Now it returns me
to the place in which I STARTED reading. Why?

These are just questions, not complaints about KS7.2. So far, the
marking files and directory enhancements are great! Thanks, HW.

Alex
