Pam:

To replace sounds, first pick the sound you want to replace (ensure you have the right file). Then take any .wav file you wish and rename it to have the same name as the file you want to replace it with. Next, put it in the Windows folder on the Flash Disk (the KS system disk will not let you put files in there, or at least will not let you replace files.) Do a reset, and follow any instructions, such as "system files have been updated, press RESET".

That 8sinks.mp3 file is a mystery to me, too.
Alex

P.S. Could you please tell me if you had a hard time reading this message--maybe a strange Braille code? I changed my default grade and want to see if my problem of back translation in emails is gone now. Thanks.

Subject: [Braillenote] The sounds in the windows folder

What are the sounds for in the windows folder? Is there a way to
assign sounds to events that I'm not aware of? And who came up
with 86? Funny.

Pam
