Hi Jeff:
Maybe a 456 (jkl) reset would clear out the cobwebs. If not, you
might do a service reset holding down the record and reset key.
It seems like all these units have developed their own
personalities.
Kind Regards,
Rhonda Clark

Rhonda,
I am sorry, but for some reason paul's name keeps appearing. I
used one of
his messages to send a message to the list and changed the
subject line. I
am sorry, but I forgot how to send a message to the list since I
rarely
post. I am Jeff, and I am the one who sent the message about the
MP3 file.
I did press F for File Manager, D for Directory, P for PC Card,
then, I
space down to my music folder, and press Enter. Then, I space
down and
select the music file I wish to play. I press Enter on this file
and
absolutely nothing happens. I can open--using this method--any
other file
type.
Thank you very much for your help and suggestions.
Jeff
