Fat 32 permits more blocks of data to be defined for a volume, so
on a big volume a small file doesn't say take up maybe 16,000
bytes minimum.

Fat 16 is an older version of FAT, which stands for File
Allocation table, and was used for years with MS-Dos.

FAB16 is fine for fairly small volumes, but say a 1GB or bigger
gets to have ridiculously big block sizes.
