Hi Don,
Thanks much! Downloaded Jonathan Mosen's file successfully! Had to reset
my unit after doing so but managed to download his file. I can now listen
at my leisure. Now I will need to figure out how to sort files by date,
size etc. He was just getting in to that when I shut him off (grin smile)!
Thanks again!
Jim

Jim,
I just checked the readme for 7.2 and the setting you want is in file
download options within the internet options menu. This allows you to
turn audio
streaming on for listening or off to download the file.
You get to the internet options menu by opening the browser and hitting
backspace with o or control with 2 for the qt.
It's number 3 in the first section of the readme having to do with
additions to the user guide.

Hi Jim,
Check the 7.2 readme which Maurice posted yesterday. Start keyweb and in
the internet options menu there is a setting which allows for streaming
audio.
Turn this off and the mp3 should download okay.
For exact instructions see that readme file; it's buried in there
somewhere.

Hello all,
I'm able to play mp3 files with no difficulty. They play right away! If
I go in through the file manager, I don't see the four dots going across
the screen but I
can hear the mp3 file just fine. This is also true with .wav files. I
have one file on my thumb drive which has a .wmv extension. When I try to
play it through
the file manager, I get the error beep. When I go into the media player,
the file plays okay! I'm getting a message which says something to the
effect that
the codecs isn't all there so the file will play at reduced efficiency or
something like that but it plays.
Now my question. Is there a way to download something like Jonathan
Mosen's welcome to 7.2 file onto another drive to be played later without
being on
line? Whenever I access that file, it plays! I immediately went out of
that file and tried to come back in again. The M-power said I didn't have
enough
memory so I did a reset. The file started to play again but I stopped it
immediately! I simply haven't figured out how to simply download the file
onto another
drive so I can play it later on my M-power.
Thanks much!
Jim Aldrich
