I have a Toshiba 512 card and it worked just fine with the upgrade!

Hello Betsy,
You will want to purchase a SanDisk 128 or 256 mb SD card and
then download or copy the files to that card then you can
upgrade. I had problems with a 512 mb card so I would strongly
recommend the smaller size card.
