Hello list:
I have been reading many posts on what is wrong with the
upgrade, what is wrong with Humanware, etc. Yes, 7.2 does need
some work. However, that is not the reason for this post.
Dean Jackson was wonderful at his job. No one expected him to
die. He was only 26. He made many late-night calls to many of
you. He ran the list very well.
Jonathan did the job he was supposed to do -- to market the
BrailleNote product. He did it well. We have lost these two
people -- saying that someone could moderate the list better than
what is being done won't change that.
There are currently two moderators on this list. I don't know
who Robin Williams is, I've never seen a post. However, Andrew
Riden has been doing his best to learn what is necessary to
answer questions. I don't know what Andrew knows, and what he
doesn't. For some reason,
he is expected to fill in where Dean Jackson left off. Let him
fill his own shoes. Don't try to make him fill the shoes of
someone else.
I do believe Humanware needs to answer some of the questions
that are being raised. Right now, I'm happy running 7.0 on my
classic. I'll keep it that way. I'll learn all I can about 7.2,
and teach what I can. I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box,
but people stating they could do a better job won't make things
any better.
I was going to ignore all of this, and not say anything.
Again, you all know me. It never happens.
Kind Regards,
Rhonda Clark
