I would talk with Tech Support before doing this. Ask them if it would be
okay to unprotect the unicode table file in the Keysoft Systems Disk Windows
folder.

Subject: [Braillenote] Unicode Assigning Problems

: Hi all:
:
: Yet another problem, this one since KS7.0. When I try to reassign
: the key combo for a Unicode character, I get the error message,
: "The file is protected" or something along those lines. I looked,
: and found that the /flash disk/dictionaries/unicode tables file
: is NOT protected, while /keysoft system disk/windows/unicode
: tables IS protected. The only thing I can think of is that HW
: told KS to change the KS system disk file, not the flash disk
: one, and so the system cannot change that system file. Any
: suggestions?
: Have a great day,
: Alex
