Yes, I get that. So if a user had 6.x, installed the 7.x bootloader, then
installed 7.2? I assume that would work, anyway.
Oh and the 7.0 upgrade on the classic didn't need a bootloader - I performed
that upgrade before getting the Mpower transplant.

The bootloader is essentially same on both 7.0x and 7.2. It really comes
to
issue when you are trying to upgrade form 6.x to 7.x, especially the
mPower.
