Hi all:

I recently came across a type of input control in HTML that allows the website to take a file off the user's computer. When the user (even on a BN) clicks this button, the standard drive, folder, and file name prompt appears. When the user makes a selection, the value of the button changes to the file path selected. With this in mind, is it not true that that file has to be copied to the website somehow to, say, attach to a web-based email? If so, why can the BN not just work backwards and use FTP links: instead of sending files to the site, take them off?

Just a thought. Besides, knowing me, I am probably way off the mark as far as how this type of button works.
Have a great day,
Alex
