That is the name, but Windows will get mad if you try to run that
KNG program on a PC with anything higher than, I think, 95. To
give an example, it gave instructions on how to change user
settings by telling you which lines in which .ini file to alter.
I wish HW could modernize this program, or at least offer it as a
built-in synthesizer for Jaws (or whatever screenreader anyone
uses).
Have a great day,
Alex

Hi list,
Sometime ago, pulsedata now known as humanware had a speech
synth. Is that
not the case anymore?

Having a USB drive with a speech program using KNG would be
really great! I
like Jaws, but I like using KNG on my BN instead of Eloquence,
and often
wish that I could set Jaws to use KNG without needing a BN for
the task.
Have a great day,
Alex

I remember stating when we first got eloquence that it lagged
behind
terribly when you type. Well it is much much worse in 7.2. I
don't use
eloquence much because of this. I have gotten so used to keysoft
and its
responsiveness that I prefer it. I wish hw would make a speech
synthesizer,
and I mean in a little box you can plug in to the usb port of
your computer
with ks on it.
Just an idea humanware!
TTFN folks!
