My BN goes with me every where, and I'm not convinced that I'd want to use
my BN as a remote either, but it would be nice for certain circumstances,
for if I can't find a particular remote, for when the remote for the
projector has been removed from my class room. To consolidate remotes.

Additionally, as some one else said, many sighted people are able to
exchange information via Infra red like exchanging a business card. This
would be great on a BN.

When I first read the message, I thought it would be helpful. I just had a
talking thurmastat put in my condo. I thought, this could have prevented me
from replacing the thermostat. I then thought, this means I would have to
bring the M-power home every day or get another unit for home. Many a
night, I leave my unit at work if I have other plans such as shopping or
reading a tape. It just is not worth the hassle of remembering the machine
every day, just so I can stay cool or watch the tv.
As someone else said, lets let HW put there time into a full and speady
repair of all these bugs in 7.2. We surely need a healthy update more thn
better accessability of our remotes. A remote can be learned, we can not
repair a bug.

Hi,

Actually, when I owned a PacMate I tried this out but quite frankly got
bored with the idea and also didn't want to keep the PacMate in the same

place all the time. My money would be spent much better on other tweaks to
the already existing software and perhaps an upgrade to Windows CE5,
hopefully with a slightly more opened up platform so that we could find our
favourite programmes and give them a try. I'm not being very specific here,
but you get the drift.
