Hello all.
I am writing as a result of experiencing some difficulties with
my VoiceNote Classic.
Since I received my machine back from repair a new flash disk and
supposedly a new battery, in late March or early April, I have
not been able to access my internet history folder, as I had
written on list about previously.
The battery is flaky. I can run it unplugged for about 2 hours
before I receive the critical warning and draining the battery
has done nothing to help.
Last Wednesday, I installed KeySoft 7.2 and the internet history
problem has gotten worse as well as errors going into the book
reader and getting out of KeyWord and stuff.
The minute I got on the internet I received the history error
message and every time I go on a page and get off the internet I
receive the message no internet history database is available.
I filled out the form on the internet and sent it to Tech
Support. As of right this minute, I've not heard a word from
Tech Support. I know that I could probably call Tech Support but
I don't have time to be sitting hanging on the phone until I'm 90
and personally if available, I like to fill out forms rather then
call anyway.
Seems as though one would hear something considering that we got
this newsletter about the extra Tech Support people having had
been added but it has been a week and going on 2 days and here we
sit.
So, here I am, back on the list again, to see if anyone is
experiencing or has experienced the internet history problem and
to see if this history database can be added or if there are any
good results for this?
The other errors getting into and out of files are annoying but I
just think unfortunately, they are part of the beast and I can
live with them although this equipment is to expensive to be
having so many bugs.
I do like one change in 7.2 though. When I'm on the Zone Site, I
can now hear sounds for the Quick Note feature and once in a
while, while playing the games.
I will close by saying to Humanware, that Rhonda Clark should
definitely be considered should a position in Tech Support become
available in the future. Rhonda has helped more people with
these notetakers then any of us will ever know and she has done
super in my opinion.
Thanks for reading,
Donna
