Hi all:

I have gotten a work-around for converting temperature and distances on the
BN to work. The whole thing is based on two files; one an HTML file that
gets your input and gives you the conversion, and one .js file that holds
the converting functions.
Just put these two files in the same folder (I recommend the "my favorites"
folder), load the HTML file, and it is self-explanatory from there.

The page currently offers (going both ways):
celsius to fahrenheit;
feet to meters;
miles to kilometers;
inches to centimeters;
miles to nautical miles.

I am eventually going to add weight and volume conversions.

If anyone wants these files (which I have tested successfully on a classic
BNBT with 6.11 and an mPower BNBT with 7.01, then with 7.2), email me at

Have a great day,
Alex
