Why can you only change the sounds with Eloquence?

Yes, it is possible. Depending on your machine, it is possible.
If you have
an mPower, switch the synthesizer to Eloquence. Then, go to File
Manager and
copy two wav files that you wish to use as an alarm. Copy the
files to
Windows folder on the KeySoft system disk. Then rename the first
file to
keysoft alarm1, and the second file to keysoft alarm2. Then the
traditional
alarm sounds will go away.
