Hi Michele:

That is what is being explained to you when they want to place a cookie. It tells you that you are going on to a different site. It's fine to do that. When you get done with that site, just clear your cookies if you'd like. Many sites now require this, and you'll be fine.
Warm Regards,
Rhonda Clark,

Hi Rhonda and others. I did try enabling the cookie the first
time but
it took me to a completely different site to what I was trying to
access. That's what I've concerned about. If I'm checking an
e-book
site for example, I don't want to suddenly be transported to the
Optus
website after enabling the cookie which shows up in this privacy
dialog.

Thanks.

Michele

Hello, Michele:
It doesn't always hurt for a cookie to be enabled. I do it
quite often. I just make sure when I'm finished with a site that
I clear my cookies. It should be just fine.

Kind Regards,
Rhonda Clark

Subject: [Braillenote] Privacy Dialog Appearing

Hi Friends. I have been getting more acquainted with Keyweb
recently,
and have noticed that when visiting various sites, I get a
privacy
dialog which informs me that an intruding site is trying to load
a
cokie in my folder.

When this happens, I can't exit out, but have to do a reset. I
usually

say no to allowing the cookie but don't get any further on my
surfing
expedition.

This last time, it happened with Google. I can't remember the
last
site it haspened with, but definitely when I was doing a google
search.

I clicked on one of the search results and that's when it
happened.
Just in case you need to know, I was trying to locate the lyffics
to a
song.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Michele
