Les,  On several occasions, it has been suggested that  a 
prospective notetaker buyer, consult the  information available 
at Websites, or get hands-on  demonstrations.  (THe latter was 
the road I took.)

BTW:  You sound like one of us:  a VR  CoUnselor, with the 
"informed Choice"  bit!  (smile)
