Hello, list:
I'm not sure what this list has become. I would guess that the
message in question is the one regarding Freedom Scientific.
Folks, whether Sharon had posted it or not, someone would have
made mention of it. It's all over the place, such as "access
World", and maybe I'm giving it the wrong name. Things like this
do not remain a secret. I have many feelings about the issue,
but my feelings do not belong on this list. What I am saying is
this: when something happens, for good or bad, it is spread out
on lists. It seems to go with the blindness community that we
become critical. If I am asked to leave the list for this
message, I'll go, but please, let's stop hurting each other.
Please, let's not criticize anymore.
Warm Regards,
Rhonda Clark,
Illinois

Hello Sharon,
It is time for you to take this off list.
We are getting tired of reading your e-mails.
If you have a problem with someone, discuss it privately.
There is enough on the list to read and learn about without
having e-mails about whether or not someone said or didn't say
something inappropriately.
So, for once and for all, take it off list.
Robert Stigile

Dear Kathleen:
When I am personally confronted on the list, I have the right
to ask why. We have so many moderators, it's getting hard to
keep track of who should actually be moderating.
My point to Mickey was this: It's not professional to call
someone out by name. People who have the Humanware title
shouldn't reprimand someone by name on the list.
My only question to him basically was, what was my
inappropriate message? It's not fair to say my message was
inappropriate, and then not tell me which one it was, or what I
did wrong. I don't think anyone would personally enjoy a
reprimand from a Humanware staff person. Joseph Lee tells me I'm
out-of-bounds, and you, Kathleen, tell me to take my problem off
the list. I didn't originate the first contact.
God bless and keep smiling!!
