Thanks, I guess I'll have to switch, as the setting is present on the regular keyboard.

Subject: Re: [Braillenote] Braille Note as Braille Display:

The braillenote with keyboard has hotkeys defined for window eyes so that you can input data from the keyboard. In the case of a qt keyboard, you need to input using braille. That is, you use f d s for dots 1 2 and 3 and j k l for dots 4 5 6.

The only difference between the two options in the display list for window eyes is that the braillenote display does not have those hotkeys defined in the braille.ini file of wineyes whereas the braillenote with keyboard input does.

No special drivers are needed.

Hi folks! Currently I am using the good ol Braille Note 32 as a Braille
Display connected to the serial port. When I was setting this up with
window-eyes v. 5.5,, I noticed there were 2 different Braille Note types.
One said "Braille Note with keyboard input," while the other said just
"Braille Note."
My question is, on the Braille Note with Keyboard Input, do we need drivers for it? How exactly does this function work? Can you input from the Braille
Note?
