Humanware does have a 220 volt 50 cycle ac adapter available for the BrailleNote family. Your friend probably wants a Transformer-type voltage adapter. She may obtain the 220 volt ac adapter for her BrailleNote from the nearest Humanware distributor in Spain. Not sure what sort of plug it has, so she may need a plug adapter to plug it into the Spanish Power Mains. But would think that sort of adapter should be readily available in Spain. The BrailleNote sparking when she plugged it into her power adapter does not sound good. Hope she has not fried her unit. Brian -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
