But that is the odd thing: it still works. I do not understand
how it does, but I am listening to it right now and not one hard
return shows up in the entire file.
Have a great day,
Alex

That happened to me once, but after I looked at the playlist file
in question, I realized that I'd written one of the filenames
wrong. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Interesting playlist note and question
Hi all:
I just started playing an old playlist. For some reason, all
playlists lose their hard returns and turn into one big line of
file locations, normally forcing me to reinsert the returns. As
expected, this playlist did that. Unexpectedly, it played fine!
The "one song per line" rule seems to have been broken, yet it
works.
Also, the old (KS6.2) behavior of not going backwards in
playlists after song 10 or so has not disappeared; it has moved
to song 25 or so. After that magic song number, the BN will not
let me go back in my list. I thought this was fixed?
Have a great day,
Alex
