Creating:
1. Go to KeyWord and select either Create or Open a document.
2. Select the drive and folder like normal, then press BACKSPACE+X until you see "create an ASCII text file". 3. Type the desired filename, but make sure you put .html at the end of it. No other file type will allow you to change the file extension like this and have it recognized. 4. The file is now saved as an HTML file and can be opened using KeyWord, which brings me to...

Opening:
1. Go to KeyWeb and, at the "Address?" prompt, use the normal commands to select the drive and folder in which you stored the html file. 2. At the "list of folders in (folder name) folder" prompt, press SPACE+X. This will give you a "list of HTML, braille, and text files in (folder name) folder". 3. Select the desired file and press ENTER. It will load, and all normal KeyWeb commands are now available.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] HTML files

Hello All,
First, can you create html files on the BN? If so, can you tell
me how to save one there and which file type would it be saved
as. Secondly, can you please tell me again how to open an html
file that is on a card.

Thank you for your assistance,
Tiffany Manosh
