Tomi:

When you say that your computer acts as a server, do you mean you can select it from a list of servers on the BN when you access your network, or that you have to enter it (such as typing \\CompName\ at the prompt)? If so, how can you set up a computer to appear as a server on a network? Email me off list, if possible, since this gets away from the BN.

Thanks, and have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] re : access point not working

Hi List,

Well I do have a router, but this is a network that does not have
an internet connection ( my computer is connected to the router
with ethernet, and acts as a server ) . This network is up all
times, so the bn should detect it. But now a days, the " card
not recognized " error are becoming more frequent. I was able to
log on to the network a few times, though.

I do have dial - up, but want to access my computer with my bn.

Regards:

Tomi
