The first thing to do is try it in the mPower. If that does not
work, plug it into a computer and navigate to it in the "my
computer" folder on the desktop. Right-click it (hit the
Applications key) and select the format option. If that option
does not appear, select "properties" and navigate to the "format"
tab. Once in a format window, select FAT32 as the desired format
and hit OKAY. You will be told that all information on the drive
will be erased, but go ahead (obviously after backing up any
wanted info). After the drive is reformatted, try it in the
mPower again.
Good luck and happy birthday,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Need Help with Drive
Hi all,
I bought the Western Digital Passport 120 GB drive that I
described to
the list earlier. It was a birthday gift to myself. My question
is, is
there any configuration that needs to be done to the drive before
I
can use it with the BrailleNote? Are the instructions in the
manual? I
looked there, but don't know where to find it.
Or, can someone instruct me on or offlis as to what to do? Please
write back.
Thanks, all, for everything.
Sharonda
