It seems that, because it measures voltage instead of time, the faster method would be better. Maybe I am confused; what does the BN use and can Support Information change it?

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] forming charge

Hi Matthew and Joseph,

there are basically two ways to charge a Nickel-based battery.
One
is using quite a high current, does it quite fast, and decides to
stop
when the battery voltage reaches a peak. The other, forming
charge,
uses a low current, takes a long time and decides to stop after a
certain number of hours.

since our forming charge is timed, it's not good to do it on a
full battery.

regards,

Andy.
