Well, as to your translation questions, the largest thing I could readily
think of was a TXT version of the mPower manual I have on my PC. Although,
I'm thinking it is for an older version of KeySoft. The TXT document is
770.8 KB in size, and it took about twenty seconds to translate into a
KeyWord Braille document. Then, once that Braille document was saved, it
only took a second or two to open. One is able to translate a file at the
time they open it, or they are able to go to the translation menu and
translate and save the file for opening at a later time.

The keyboard emulator feature for controlling a computer running JAWS seems to work reasonably well, although I must confess that I don't use it a lot, only used it a bit to see if it would work. One can use that feature via a
serial port or via Bluetooth if the PC has Bluetooth capabilities either
built in or with a Bluetooth adapter; however, at least in my case, it took
some doing to get the Bluetooth set up and working properly.

Hi. I'm looking at getting the bn mpower since i found out some very
disturbing news about the pac mate. How much would an 18 cell cost? Also,
how long do you think it takes to maybe translate a 1 meg file from text to keyword, and how long it would take to open a keyword version of that file.
Also, how well does the feature that allows you to control a jaws enabled
computer with the bn work?
