Jason,
I have exactly the same experience with an Epson Color Stylus 880. Have
tried all the resets, turning the printer on after connecting to the BN,
etc. Nothing I've tried works.
Fortunately, the 880 also has a parallel port, so I bought a USB to
parallel adapter and that works great. So that is a solution here, but I
still think it should be able to print to the USB port.
I know this is not helpful, but I don't think it's a matter of your not
saying the right incantation.

Subject: [Braillenote] Usb printing probs
I'm not having any luck getting my BN Mpower to print to my Epson Stylus
Color 777 printer. I've made sure the printer setup list's port is set for
usb and printer type is set to epson. And when I connect the printer and hit
the power switch, the BN correctly notifies me that the printer is ready.
When I actually try printing a doc however, BN just sits there for a few
seconds, then announces that printing completed successfully, yet the
printer isn't doing a single thing. I know this printer is functioning
properly, since I just printed off this printer yesterday from one of my
pcs. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Thanks a
bunch.
I'm not tailgating, I'm drafting!
