Hi, Deborah. I still work for Amtrak in customer service and sales at a call center 60 miles east of Los Angeles. I've done this for 26 years last April. I'd better start reading the Accessworld issues I've let piled up, grin. I'm sorry about the Pk one-slot problem. I like that it's very small, but I don't have one. Only one card at a time? Oy vay, how inccvenient!

Hi Nancy,
And thanks for the welcoming message. I think I do remember that
article
about you. What is your job now? It seems to me like it was
some kind of
customer service when I wrote about you.
And thanks for the encouragement. I love the PK, but don't love
the quirks!

Deborah

Hi, Deborah K., welcome to the list. I've seen your posts severl
times now but decided to welcome you today. I have so much to
read, it's like being in college all over again, grin.
I don't have a pk, but I have an m-power braille display with 18
cells. I talked to Myrna today from tech support, and she went
the extra mile for me. I was reading the manual, and there were
a couple of issues I didn't want to bother the list with. Many
others, especially Rhonda, have been very helpful to me.
Deborah, have fun with your new equipment, and I hope you get
your problems resolved soon. You're a good journalist, so I know
you will, grin. A long time ago, you wrote a great article
about me on my job for Accessworld, in spite of me not getting
cooperation for a photo you wanted.
