Hello,
I have not used a edgeport converter, but I have used a parallel to usb cable from Radio Shack. I have a hp printer that only has parallel port, so I bought a cable as I said from Radio Shack, and it works great. What I have to do, is turn off the printer, and turn off the braillenote, then connect the usb to the braillenote, and then turn on the braillenote and then the printer.
Good luck,
Robert Stigile
