Hi Andrew and list, i did try all your suggesttions. But it
would not budge. I hear it moving but nothing. Sister says that
it cannot be seen. There's a hole that is partially covered up
and it fell in this hole. It will not come out. The other time
I was moving it, the card started moving back and forth in the
unit, indicating that it is there. I cannot find it anywhere.
Maybe before the summer comes it will come out. In the summer
they send it back. But what if Humanware will keep the card?
It's a 1 gb card. I do not want my school to know, they are very
mad if my bn has to be sent back. I cannot use tweezers because
the card cannot be seen.

Tomi

Subject: SD card inside unit
Hi Tomi,
It may be possible to get it out without unscrewing it - I
just managed
it with my unit.
There's two places it will come out easily - the CF card slot,
and the
PCMCIA slot. The PCMCIA slot is probably easier, that's on the
right of
the machine at the front, near the thumb keys.
First, you want the machine upside down which will let you slide
the card
towards this corner more easily. When the card is in the right
area, turn
the mPower the right way up again. Then take the left hand edge
of the
mPower and lift it up, leaving the right-hand edge in the same
place, so
it rotates. Take it past vertical and back a few times and give
it a
shake. Repeat this a few times, and if the SD card starts off in
the
right area, near the PCMCIA slot, it should pop out. I just
tried this
and it was easier than getting it to come out the CF slot.
hope that helps,
Andy.
