I've done this with a PC before and managed to remove cards by gently tipping the PC, getting the card lined up with the hole and out it's come. I don't know whether this is at all feasible with the shape of this card and the USB slot, but after all, it went in. You may find tweasers help to hold the card, though they could in fact damage the card and maybe the BN also.

I guess the bottom line is this: My possible suggestion is above but you try it at your own risk and HW may have to charge you for any necessary repairs.

I do so appreciate your problem and hope it just falls out for you.

Subject: [Braillenote] urgent: sd card fell in the slot

Hello list,

Somehow, I do not know, my sd card fell into the compact flash slot. I have tried everything, tipping the bn, moving it from side to side, shaking it, but no luck. I can hear the card shaking. Somewhere near my thumb keys. I asked my sister if she can see it and she said that there's a whole at the top of the cf card slot that the card might of fallen into. This card contains important school info and I need it bad. The problem is that I do not want to send my bn in for service, since this would virtually lose all my homework and school files. And that would make my bn to be away for two hole weeks!

Did this happen to anyone before? If so, how did you take it out? I do not care if I have to screw it apart as long as I can screw it back the right way. Though I would not prefer taking this 6 thousand dollar thing apart. But this is very urgent.

Regards:

Tomi
