Yes, there are some in the UK and (according to reports on the Internet the
first was in 1998), they do appear to have wireless, but I think you have to
pay for the service.

For the UK and you can easily find in other countries from there. (Watch
those two broken lines when you put the URL into BN or your browser.)
I'm particularly interested to get some experience of using wireless away
from home myself so anyway in the UK who finds anything useable then I'd be
glad to know. I have only found one which is supposedly really free in our
area so far.

around the UK. Whether they support wireless is another question since

You can get an inexpensive plan. You can get some wireless experience
