hello Mr. Stunnerstud,
There was nothing unfriendly in my message. I repeated what Mr. Sloane and Mr. quenzer said in their messages. Mr. Quenzer said if anyone had a problem that the list could not solve, to put "Problem" in the subject line and send it to him. Mr. Sloane gave us a list of Humanware technical support facilities worldwide. The list was quite long and gave a phone number and an E-Mail address for each facility. Sir, I am an evil old lady and can be very unfriendly, so if you wish to discuss this further with me, contact me off-line or call me at 202-863-0390. There's no sense cluttering the list with me being unfriendly to you.

Sammie Clay

Problem

boy shane jackson was right about humanware.
They are so unfriendly when it comes to people asking for help on
the list.
Come on guys, what if someone needs help when hw is not open?
What are we suppose to do, wait until the next business day when
they are
open and call tech support?
Brandon

Problem

Hello,
Mickey quenzer requested that when we discover a problem or a
bug, we
start the subject line with the word "problem" then mention the
problem
and address the message to him at:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]
He will then include that problem in the list he is compiling
for
Humanware's attention. Then, perhaps Humanware will take
whatever action
is necessary to solve the problem or eliminate the bug.

Maurice Sloane sent a message to the list in which he provided
a list of
Humanware support facilities located worldwide. This list
included phone
numbers and E-Mail addresses for each location. After some
confusion, it
was understood that whenever we have problems which can't be
solved by the
list, we should contact the Humanware facility in our area or
country or
Humanware's headquarters in New Zealand. If you require a copy
of that
message, perhaps someone on the list has saved it and can send
you a copy.
Also, maybe Mr. Sloane will send you a copy, off-list, if you
request one
from him. His E-Mail address is:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I hope you can use this information to report problems and
bugs you
discover directly to Humanware if the list cannot help you.

Subject: [Braillenote] BUG REPORTING - WAS Re: Calculator Problem

Paul,

I asked this the other day but I don't think my message made it.
Yes, I too
would like to know the official way to report bugs and whether
there is a
WEB site form yet available?

If there isn't then I would like to suggest that we, as a group,
ask for
such facilities so that we can all get those bugs sent in. I'd
personally
like to see acknowledgement of anything we send by HW and an
indication by
them of their intended course of action. This, in my view, would
really be
good practice and should apply to all users, whether members of
this group
or not.

What do others think on this?

Carol,

Is there an email address at Humanware for reporting bugs?

Thanks,

Paul
