It's normal for the BN to come on and display and-or speak "AC
adapter on," but it is not normal for the BN to actually turn on.
That's really strange.

This is normal. When you plug in your charger your BN will
come on for a
few seconds and then it will turn off again no matter if you have
the unit
turned on or off.
