Hi Kandi and List,
Here's a tip for reading a recipe on the BN while cooking. Put the BN in
one of those plastic grocery bags, the ones with handles. Some people call
them carrier bags. Tie the handles in a knot so the BN is completely sealed
inside the plastic. Then, you can read the display and press the keys with
dirty or sticky hands and you don't have to worry about getting anything bad
on the BN. After you're done cooking, you can just throw the bag away.

No, I don't use the recipe database. I do two different things.
I have a recipe folder that I created on my BN with all of my
recipes in it in separate files. I also record the recipes with
a tape recorder so I don't have to read it while I'm making a
cake or something--then the BN might get dirty. Hope this helps.
