Jolen,
I've noticed it too. That is because USB devices present themselves as hard
disk to the operating system, yet on the real code, it will display with a
different name. Also, consider this scenario: let us say that you've
connected a USB thumb drive. Then you've also connect a USB hard drive. Now
BrailleNote will be confused as to what to do with it. The first drive that
is connected to becomes hard disk, and the sxecond drive (likely the hard
drive) becomes hard disk2 (a familiar case in Windows CE; we've saw this a
number of times with a similar product, but I won't mention it). This is why
the hard disk is not accessible just by pressing h from drive prompt.

Subject: [Braillenote] Recognizing Hard disk

Hi All,

I recently purchased a thumb drive and it works well. There is one thing,
though, that may be a bug. I wonder if others have experienced this and if
it needs to be reported.

When it is plugged into a USB port, the BN recognizes it as "Hard Disk". If
I go to the drive list, it is there and I can choose it. I cannot use "h"
to go to it as I can with "C" for compactflash, "F" for Flash, or "P" for PC
Card.

Thanks.

Joleen
