I don't know if this will help, but I know someone sold one on ebay a few weeks ago.

Hi David,

You might want to contact the vusion teachers who serve visually
impaired children in your area. Perhaps they can put you in
touch with
parents who may be interested in buying a used Braillenote for
their
child.

Subject: [Braillenote] Some Information Here

Dear List,
I think it's been pretty much decided between myself and my
mother that
we'r going to get a brand new bt 18 unit. But before we proceed
any
further, we were thinking about selling the old braille notes we
had.
The thing is, my sister and I both have braille note bt classics
running
keysoft 6.11 with the old style braille display. Rehab will most
likely
pay for a new notetaker for my sister when she goes off to
college next
year. I have already estimated that we'll probably get at least
$1500
to $2000 from each unit. The question is this: What kind of
person or
organization would be interested in these braille notes? I know
that
more and more people are getting mpowers, but there must be
someone or
some organization out there that might buy it. Any response
would be
greatly appreciated.
David
