Dear List,
This may sound like a dumb question. However, as a BN User who
is deaf-blind, I bought a cellphone and didn't even think about
sppech output. As a result, it is necessary to rely on sighted
help to "pair" the phone and M-Power. (Both times, when the
devices were "paired and ative," a truly knowledgeable
individual, who happens to be blind, did the work, with
sighted assistance to know what the Clelhpone visual dispay
indicated.
Some of you have spoken of "talk" software in the cellphones
you use. My Cellphone is a Nokia 6256. I don't need, or use
Data Service, only Dial-Up. Supposedly, the Cellphone has both
Bluetooth and Infrared capablity. However, no one has been
successful getting it to work using Infrared. Needless to say,
I have no problem in using Buetooth, but would like to find it
lessof a problem.
So, my question: Is it possible to incorporate talking software
into this Cellphone? If so, what would work best and where would
I buy it?
KC
