Alex,
Probably HumanWare can, but it depends on the power supply. If a new version
of BN hardware comes out, then it might have Intel Xscale PXA29x clocked
(running) at 1.25 GHz, with the RAM between 64 and 128 MB.

Subject: [Braillenote] Random Question: replacing processor?

Hi all, especially you techies:

Here is a random question: what happens if you void all warranties and
disassemble an mPower (stop shuddering, it is just hypothetical). Once
inside, what would CE and/or KS do if you replaced the current 416 XScale
processor with a new processor, such as a dual core 624? What about the RAM?
Would the CE version update itself or would it fry? Would the voltage be
correct? So many questions... But basically, could the BN accept a
higher-running processor or other hardware? I do NOT plan on trying this,
but if some new BN comes out and I have it and a
(then) old mPower, I might be tempted...
Have a great day,
Alex
