Ottawa Canada Dear Flint:
Try plugging in your dead Mpower's ac adapter into a wall outlet known to be live and let it soak up some charge for a while, like a couple of hours, then turn it on. If it doesn't spring to life by itself, do a plain reset (reset button only) and if no dice, A 1-2-3 (sdf) reset, if no dice, A 4-5-6 (JKL) reset and if no dice, An engineer's reset (reset and record buttons together). If this with a couple of hours charge in it doesn't bring it to life, telephone Humanware tech support for further ideas and if they don't work, an RMA number to send it in for servicing. Sounds like you have some good ideas for applications. Personally I would like to see: FTP Telnet and A vt-100 terminal emulator. Not sure how hard these would be to implement on the BrailleNote family. Remember you would want versions of your programs for the Mpower, Classic, VoiceNote and PK members of the family. Humanware has said Key Chat, their Instant Messaging program will be coming eventually. Take care. Brian -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
