Are you able to browse your BrailleNote's filesystem via the Mobile Device icon under My Computer? This will verify that your computer successfully communicates with the BrailleNote.
Do you for sure see a KeySync icon in your system tray? If not Keysync isn't running. I dunno if this matters, but did you configure a partnership with the PC for your BrailleNote? Even though this doesn't seem like it should be necessary, I think Keysync does somehow interact with ActiveSync and therefore expects there to be a partnership. If both of the above are true, Try a sync then go to Show Log after a left-click on the tray icon to see if it presents any error messages on the PC. Hello; Listers, Did anyone get my message about keysync? I am trying to connect to keysync and it won't let me. It says cannot connect to partner. I don't know why it says this. I have everything running active sync and keysync. Please! help. Please write back A.S.A.P.
